Our client, an innovative fintech startup, is seeking an AI Engineer to build intelligent agents and LLM-powered features for their financial automation platform. Responsibilities
•Design and develop LLM-based agents for financial analysis, reporting automation, and intelligent recommendations
•Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems to enhance AI responses with real-time financial data
•Implement prompt engineering strategies and fine-tuning approaches for domain-specific financial use cases
•Create machine learning models for forecasting, anomaly detection, and pattern recognition in financial data
•Integrate AI features with existing backend systems using Python and API frameworks
•Develop evaluation frameworks to measure model performance and business impact
•Build fallback systems and safety rails for production AI deployments
•Monitor and optimize deployed models, handling drift and retraining cycles
•Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of AI capabilities
Qualifications
Required:
•2-3 years of experience building or deploying AI/ML systems in production
•Strong Python proficiency with experience in AI/ML frameworks
•Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
•Understanding of prompt engineering and agent development patterns
•Experience with structured data, feature engineering, and model evaluation
•Knowledge of API development and integration practices
•Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously
Preferred:
•Experience building RAG systems or conversational AI agents
•Familiarity with vector databases and embedding models
•Knowledge of financial concepts or experience in fintech
•Understanding of time-series analysis and forecasting techniques
Nice to Have:
•Experience with Weights & Biases, Hugging Face, or similar ML tools
•Exposure to FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks
•Knowledge of containerization and cloud ML services
•Background in financial reporting or accounting concepts
